Locum Family Physician – Summer Practice with Lifestyle Focus

About the role

We are seeking a locum Family Practitioner/General Practitioner to join our summer-focused practice. The position offers the chance to deliver full‑scope family care while emphasizing chronic disease prevention and lifestyle medicine.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients during the summer months.
• Manage chronic disease progression using a prevention‑focused model.
• Utilize clinic technologies such as online booking, self‑check‑in, body‑composition scanning, and VO₂ max testing.
• Document visits with AI‑supported medical scribe tools and maintain accurate EMR records.
• Cover for fellow physicians while retaining responsibility for individual patient tasks.

Required profile

• Board‑certified Family or General Practitioner.
• Strong interest in chronic disease prevention and lifestyle medicine.
• Comfortable working with advanced clinic technologies and AI documentation tools.
• Willingness to work onsite during the designated summer period.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Experience using AI‑supported medical scribe platforms.
• Familiarity with body‑composition (bioimpedance) scanning equipment.
• Ability to operate VO₂ max testing and sports performance assessment tools.
