Lab Helper A – Anatomy Workshop Support

About the role

This short‑term position supports the anatomy workshop for Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy qualifying students at McGill University. The Lab Helper will manage two stations over two half‑day sessions, demonstrating anatomical structures and facilitating learning.

Key responsibilities

• Review the workshop structure list and ensure all required anatomical structures are covered.
• Prepare pre‑workshop content for the two assigned stations.
• Develop quiz questions and clinical case study questions for each station.
• Demonstrate assigned anatomical structures using prosections.
• Differentiate target structures from adjacent ones during demonstrations.
• Answer student questions on the clinical relevance of the structures.
• Provide clinical insight on predetermined structures and discuss potential injury or degeneration implications for specific populations.

Required profile

• Current student in a BSc Rehabilitation Science program (PT or OT) with strong anatomy knowledge.
• High school diploma minimum; prior experience as a UCA for ANAT 315/316, anatomy tutor, or prosector is an asset.
• Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in Quebec.
• English proficiency assessed at level 4/4.

• Hourly wage of $17.00 CAD.
• Two‑day contract (June 8 – August 31 2026) with a part‑time schedule of 15 hours per week.
