Junior Project Coordinator Co‑op (8‑12 months)

About the role

The Junior Project Coordinator Co‑op will join Kiewit Nuclear Solutions' Site Establishment team for an 8‑12 month term starting Fall 2026. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the co‑op will support the coordination and management of new nuclear‑related facilities such as fabrication, warehouse, and administration buildings.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining comprehensive work packages in collaboration with construction and engineering teams.
• Identify, report, and obtain approval for design deviations before construction release.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved policies, standards, and procedures.
• Facilitate liaison between field trades and design engineers to resolve issues and maintain information flow.
• Prepare status and progress reports for the project team and management.
• Coordinate interfaces with internal groups, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Develop detailed work plans with construction leads and monitor product quality.
• Control expenditures within the project budget and coordinate delivery of project deliverables, as‑built drawings, and turnover documents.

Required profile

• Pursuing a post‑secondary degree or diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong written communication skills, including report writing.
• Ability to work effectively with large, multidisciplinary teams.
