Human Resources Manager – Factory

About the role

Join Nestlé Canada’s confectionery factory as a Human Resources Manager. You will be part of the site leadership team, reporting to the Regional HR Manager, and will drive people and business success in a unionized manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute end‑to‑end people strategies to attract, develop and retain talent, aligning with business plans and global HR initiatives.
• Serve as the site expert on labour relations, interpreting collective agreements and managing grievances, arbitrations and dispute resolution.
• Oversee core HR operations including recruitment, payroll, benefits and scheduling, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Lead change and transformation projects, shape culture and coach leaders on organizational design.
• Champion performance management, calibration and development planning to build strong talent pipelines.
• Foster an inclusive, safe and high‑performing workplace while overseeing training, health and wellness programs and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience with leadership in a unionized manufacturing setting.
• Strong expertise in labour relations and comprehensive knowledge of employment law.
• Experience in learning & development, employee relations, compensation & benefits, recruitment and performance management.
• Proven coaching and people‑development experience.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
