Biology & Python Expert – Freelance AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a Biology & Python expert to join our AI‑training platform on a freelance basis. You will design and validate computational biology problems that help improve AI systems used by leading tech companies.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational biology tasks that mimic real research workflows.
• Create Python‑based problem statements using libraries such as Numpy, SciPy and BioPython.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within days or weeks.
• Develop challenges that require non‑trivial reasoning in bioinformatics, systems biology and molecular modelling.
• Base tasks on genuine research questions or practical applications from biology.
• Verify solutions programmatically and provide clear documentation with correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Biology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in research, applied work or teaching.
• Strong written English (C1 level or higher).
• Availability for part‑time, project‑based work.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with Numpy, Pandas, SciPy and BioPython.
• Background in biological data analysis and bioinformatics tools.
