Associate Professor/Professor – Entrepreneurship

About the role

The Department of Management at the University of Toronto Scarborough invites applications for a full‑time tenure‑stream faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor in Entrepreneurship. The appointment, expected to begin on July 1, 2027, includes the opportunity to hold the inaugural Sam Ibrahim Chair in Entrepreneurship for a five‑year term.

Key responsibilities

• Lead academic research and teaching in entrepreneurship and related management fields.
• Collaborate with the Sam Ibrahim Centre for Inclusive Excellence in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Leadership (SICIEEIL) and university innovation units.
• Develop and supervise undergraduate and graduate courses, curricula, and mentorship programs.
• Foster partnerships with industry, alumni, and community stakeholders to enhance the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
• Contribute to departmental service, governance, and university strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• PhD in Management, Entrepreneurship, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong record of scholarly publications in top‑tier journals.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and curriculum development.
• Commitment to inclusive excellence and diversity in research, teaching, and service.
