General Manager – Toronto Warehouse & Operations

About the role

Stone Tile International Inc. is seeking a General Manager to lead its Toronto warehouse and operations. This senior, fully onsite position oversees the entire distribution centre, ensuring fast, accurate, and safe order fulfillment across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day warehouse activities including receiving, put‑away, picking, packing, shipping and returns.
• Achieve daily service and productivity targets while monitoring workflow and adjusting labor in real time.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy through strict control processes, cycle counting and discrepancy investigations.
• Partner with transportation and supply‑chain planning teams to guarantee smooth outbound execution.
• Develop, coach and evaluate supervisors and frontline staff, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Manage labor planning, scheduling, overtime and workforce allocation to optimise productivity.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and drive continuous‑improvement projects, layout changes and scaling initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a large distribution centre or warehouse environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach teams and drive accountability.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities, comfortable working on the floor and making real‑time decisions.
• Solid understanding of inventory control, warehouse scanning compliance and safety standards.
• Ability to collaborate across inventory control, transportation and supply‑chain planning functions.

Required skills

What we offer

• Competitive salary range of $115,000‑$150,000 CAD.
• Full‑time schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
